A Buyer may purchase goods ("Goods") from Seller by executing an online order, submitting a purchase order, or via an Applied Aeronautics generated invoice. The Order will be governed exclusively by these Terms and Conditions for Sale of Goods.
We accept credit card (via PayPal), PayPal and Wire Transfers (please contact us for wire transfer instructions) as payment for orders. Orders will not ship until the payment is received and cleared. Payments will be processed at the time that the order is placed, prior to shipment. We reserve the right to request additional verification information for credit card or PayPal payments before shipping.
In limited cases, we may accept Net 30 payment terms. Do note that any orders placed with Applied Aeronautics will not dispatch until your account balance for previous orders is paid in full. Late payments will result in the immediate suspension of Net 30 payment approval.
WARRANTY & RETURNS
Goods cannot be returned for any reason. This includes customer lack of product knowledge or no longer needing or wanting a product unless the item is defective. All products are checked before they mailed. In the event that goods are faulty, they must be returned to the Applied Aeronautics within 30 days of receipt, providing that the device has no physical damage or has not been altered beyond what is necessary to evaluate it. Any manufacturing defects identified during this time will be replaced with the same item. Applied Aeronautics will not accept goods that have been used more than the amount needed to assess their functionality. No refund will be made if the goods are found to be in working order and the lack of intended function is due to knowledge or assembly error on the customer’s part. In this instance the goods will be returned to the customer at their expense. Applied Aeronautics will not be responsible if there is evidence that the product has been modified or an effort to alter the product to fix it has been made and therefore will not provide an exchange. If we can no longer provide one or more items of the actual order, partial order cancellations may occur. We reserve the right to discontinue products at any time. In the event a product is discontinued prior to shipment we will issue a refund for the original amount.
Return shipment is the responsibility of the customer. All returns are credited as store credit upon receipt. Prior communication and a return number is required for returns. Once this return number has been issued, the customer must return the item within 10 days of the issue date. If the item is not shipped within that time frame, the return request will be voided. All order discrepancies must be communicated within 30 days of the order receipt. This applies to any orders in packages, missing parts in kits or products missing. After 30 days, Applied Aeronautics cannot be held responsible for any missing items.
ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to the custom and built to order nature in which items are manufactured, Albatross Airframes, Kits, Ready to Fly units and battery packs may not be cancelled, after 24 hours of receipt of order. The customer acknowledges and accepts that it can often take 90+ days to fulfil an order due to its nature.
All other products may only be cancelled up to 14 days after receipt of order.
BRANDING & LOGOS
No customer or end user is authorized to remove, cover or tamper with any Applied Aeronautics logos, serial numbers and/or markings on any product for any reason unless previously agreed to in writing.
Applied Aeronautics retains sole and exclusive ownership of all of their intellectual property rights contained in the Goods. No rights of any kind are granted to buyer.
Buyer shall neither reverse engineer, decompile, deconstruct, disassemble, synthesize, or extract any element of and/or otherwise discover any Confidential Information, nor request nor accept any disclosure of confidential information or intellectual property from a third party who reverse engineers, decompiles, deconstructs, disassembles, synthesizes, or extracts any element of and/or otherwise discovers any Confidential Information, nor otherwise attempt to derive confidential information or intellectual property contained or embodied in the Goods.
In the event that a customer intends to resell goods purchased from Applied Aeronautics, we cannot make changes, issue refunds or offer replacement parts for damaged or missing items once passed from the initial buyer to the new end user. All goods must be inspected by the initial buyer and any errors or discrepancies must be communicated to Applied Aeronautics in writing within 72 hrs of parcel receipt. Resold items must bear the Applied Aeronautics trademark and may not - unless previously agreed - be sold under any name other than the Applied Aeronautics "Albatross".
SHIPPING AND PROCESSING TIMES
Once an order has been placed we are unable to change it. We cannot add or remove items to an order that has already been made. A new order must be placed for any item that may have been excluded from the order by the customer. It is possible to combine any new order with a previous order in the event that any previous orders have not been shipped. We aim to ship orders as soon as possible, however we do not guarantee delivery or shipment dates.
Orders are shipped to the delivery address noted in the order. This address is also noted in the confirmation email sent to the customer upon ordering and additionally is also available in the account order history.
For international orders, customers are responsible for any taxes, duties, tariffs, fees, VAT, etc due upon receipt. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; customers are responsible for contacting their local customs office for more information as well as verifying that all purchased goods are eligble for import to their region. In the event that an export license is required, customers are responsible for providing Applied Aeronautics with accurate end use information including intended application. Refunds will not be given in the event of a denied export license as all goods are built and assembled to order. Applied Aeronautics is not responsible for denied shipments.
When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. Customers are also responsible for filing any claims with carriers for damaged and/or lost shipments. We are not responsible for delays, loss or damage resulting from shipments sent to incorrect, invalid addresses or correct addresses. Orders may end up being returned for various reasons including non-payment of tariffs, incorrect address, unclaimed at post office, etc. If a package is returned or rejected, the customer will be contacted and will have to pay for re-shipment. We advise using a traceable shipping method such as FedEx. Use of non-traceable shipping option (USPS) is at the customer’s own risk as there is no way to retrieve or locate the package once it has been sent. We are not responsible for damaged or lost packages shipped via USPS at any time or under any circumstance.
Insuring packages is offered at checkout for Fedex packages only. For United States Postal Service (USPS), there is no insurance offered. Orders will not ship to the customer until all shipping charges have been paid in full.

Applied Aeronautics reserves the right, without prior notice, to modify or discontinue any product displayed on any of its sites. All measurements listed can vary by more or less than 10%, some measurements are "up to" measurements and only achievable under certain conditions.
